We are delighted to open up our nominations for the 2025 Community Appreciation Awards.
This moment allows us to honour all the remarkable individuals who contribute so much to our community. These awards serve as a poignant reminder of just how fortunate we are as a diaspora community; surrounded by such dedicated and inspiring people.

The Community Appreciation Awards are offered in 5 categories:
Healthcare & Wellbeing (includes work in Mental Health)
Sport
Volunteer of the Year
Cultural (Contributions to Irish Culture in NSW)
Community Champion(s) (people who have made a valuable contribution to the community, either through their work, volunteering or other)
Senior of the Year - John Grieve
Nominations will close on Friday 30th May 2025.
All nomination applications will be reviewed by the judging panel, and a shortlist of 3 nominations will be created for each category.
Nominees who have been shortlisted will be notified of their nomination by 13th June 2025.
The public vote will commence on the 17th June 2025 and close on the 17th July 2025.
The judging panel will take into consideration the public vote, and make their final decision on Saturday 26th July 2025.
All finalists will be invited to the Ball as guests of the Irish Support Agency.
Winners will be announced at the Ball on the 26th July 2025.
